AMNRL History

The American National Rugby League was founded in 1998. The AMNRL is the governing body for the development of the sport of Rugby League in the USA, and is an affiliate member of the Rugby League International Federation. Each year the clubs in the AMNRL domestic competition contest the C.D.Ferrainola Cup to determine the champion team of rugby league in America. Cosimo 'Sam' Ferrainola was one of the driving forces behind the development of the American National Rugby League.
