Vikings head North

The addition of the two new clubs to the 2003 season will also be the relocation of the Wilmington Vikings across the Ben Franklin Bridge into New Jersey. The club will be managed and led by USA Tomahawks Team Physician, Doctor Merrick Wetzler, and will be known as the New Jersey Vikings.

A number of new players will join the club from Glouster County Community College to boost the established core of the former Delaware based club led by Tim Griffiths and Steve Ahern. Doc Wetzler will assume the role of club CEO and with the support of new manager, Jeff Scroth, the Vikings will be looking to promote Rugby League in the South Jersey region, and develop a formidable squad for the 2003 Season.

More news on the Vikings is to come.
