The AMNRL will celebrate the eleventh annual WAR AT THE SHORE at Dealy Field in Sea Isle City, New Jersey. The event has grown into a feature event of the AMNRL calendar and this year will be another exciting day of fun and entertainment for families, friends and new fans of rugby league who gather in large numbers each year.
This year's games will feature some crucial match ups with serious playoff implications with each club eager to maintain or improve their current records. The final match of the day will see the border rivals of the Fairfax Eagles from Virginia go up against the Washington DC Slayers who have been forced to make up a game that was not completed earlier this month.
The New York Knights will take on the undefeated Aston Bulls, with the Knights desperate to win their final two regular season games to clinch a home playoff berth.
The first match of the day will see the Sharks and Slayers battle to keep their playoff hopes alive and the Fight will take on the Eagles in game two, which should be an evenly contested battle for the AMNRL up and comers.
Throughout the day, there will be skills challenges, and EAGLETAG games, along with music, food, and a great day of entertainment.
It will be a full house at Dealy Field, so get to the grounds early and bring your beach chair and sunscreen.
