Fallen mates honored in the Remembrance Cup
As a curtain raise to the Liberty Bell Cup two top club sides will meet in the Remembrance Cup. This match will feature the Coogee Dolphins of New South Wales, Australia and the Glen Mills Bulls of Glen Mills, Pa. The Coogee Dolphins, formed in 1993, fields both junior and reserve grade teams. Out of their junior grades they produce players who go on to play in the NRL. Excited by the chance to play in America, they will be ready to go when they take the field against the home team.

In what proved to be the fiercest AMNRL battle in recent memory, the Connecticut Wildcats outlasted a desperately determined Sharks squad in "The War to Settle the Score"; 44-30. Match Official Ryan McGough was assigned to sort this matter out, and nobody wanted to be him. The usual "feeling out" period lasted the full 80 minutes, as both sides refused to come in low in the tackle and tested the officiating crew all day, in every way.

The kicking of the David Niu tilted the literal see-saw battle to the Bulls favor, as the teams traded 5 tries apiece over full-time. Niu was a perfect 5 for 5 on the day, giving the Bulls a 4-point cushion and the win.
