Alex Plowman to serve second tour of duty in Iraq

Alex Plowman, a three time championship winner with the Glen Mills Bulls and former Emerging Tomahawks hooker, will serve his second tour of duty in Iraq with the US marine Corp. A teacher/counselor at the Glen Mills Schools, Alex was previously on active duty in Iraq prior to returning last season to help the Bulls reclaim the Ferrainola Cup and then repeat back to back titles this past season.

Alex was the starting hooker in the US Allstars team which played the World Allies Allstars in the Hurricane Katrina Benefit Match played at Germantown Academy in October. His duty will commence the first weekend of December and he will return in November 2006.

Everyone in the US Rugby League community extend their support and appreciation to Alex for his commitment to this country, and wish him a safe return home for another season with the Glen Mills Bulls in the near future.
