RUSSELL CROWE'S SOUTH SYDNEY RABBITOHS FROM THE NRL IN AUSTRALIA TO FEATURE ON VERSUS NETWORK AND PLAY LEEDS RHINOS IN JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA
South Sydney Story – produced by Beyond Productions – is a six-part observational documentary series that shows the behind-the-scenes action of rebuilding a famous rugby league club, the South Sydney Rabbitohs, as it prepares to re-invent itself in its 100th season.
From the change rooms to the boardroom, the training track to the playing field, South Sydney Story is an in-depth look at Academy Award winning actor Russell Crowe and Australian businessman Peter Holmes à Court’s mission to transform a flagging team into a superclub fit for the new millenium.
South Sydney Story will be broadcast through the US on Versus starting October 10, with the series being shown in Canada through Chum TV.
