Bulls Defeat Raiders in Playoff Match

The Glen Mills Bulls overcame a tenacious Northern Raiders by 24-12 to advance to the 2004 C.D. Ferrainola Cup Final to take on the Connecticut Wildcats.

In a match that was in the balance up until the final minutes, the Raiders almost pulled off the upset of the season and send the Bulls crashing out of the playoffs.

Led superbly by Ben Kelly, the Raiders pushed the Bulls to the wire and looked a good chance to win the match by the 60 minute mark. Both teams forced turnovers and it was apparent that whichever team could control the ball in good field position would be the winner.

Ultimately the Bulls found a way to reach their seventh Cup Final in succession with strong performances from Shayne Mains, Marcus Vassilakopoulos and Jeff Rogg.
