Bulls
back to winning form
The
Glen Mills Bulls made a welcome return to form with a victory over
a depleted New Jersey Vikings squad that is battling to come to
terms with the speed and power of the lead clubs in the AMNRL Competition.
The
Bulls needed to bounce back from a poor performance on the road
against the Wildcats and give their many fans a reassuring reminder
that they will still be contenders for the cup in 2003.
Newcomer
Mike McGee continues to impress with his powerful running and high
work rate. he has improved with every match and after only his fourth
game of Rugby League has really earned the respect of team mates
and opposition alike.
Ray
O'Malley and Ed Woodbridge provide the backbone for the Bulls offence
and the exciting play of Joe Becker and Lenny Lux is a positive
sign for the Bulls as they head into a tough run toward the playoffs
with two matches left against the Knights and one each with the
Wildcats and Sharks.
Tim
Griffiths continues to return to the form that made him a regular
Tomahawks International. After some problems with injuries it appears
that he will be seriously placing pressure on the selectors to earn
a recall for coming international matches.
