FORMER TOMAHAWKS INTERNATIONAL DARYL 'SPINNER' HOWLAND HEADS UP RUGBY LEAGUE DEVELOPMENT IN THE SOUTH

Florida has been, and continues to be, an ideal destination for Super League Europe clubs for pre season training camps. In past seasons, the Bradford Bulls, Halifax Blusox, Leeds Rhinos, Huddersfield Giants, Salford Reds, and Wigan Warriors have all prepared for their regular season schedules by training and enjoying the facilities and climate in Jacksonvile and other parts of Florida.

Assisting and coordinating a number of these has been USA Tomahawks International, Daryl 'Spinner' Howland. The AMNRL, led by 'Spinner' Howland, plans to capitalize on the interest and growing awareness of Rugby League in the south and via a plan to promote the game at all levels for kids and adults alike, the AMNRL plans to introduce a regional competition featuring teams from Florida and Georgia.
